Club run’s officially take place on Mondays and Thursdays starting at 17:45 and will always start and end at the club.
Our Monday night run is a usually a slower shorter run of between 5 and 8km’s in length. The briefing is given by the club captain at 17:40.
The Thursday run also starts at 17:45 and depending on numbers may be divided up into two groups with one catering for faster runners and the other for the slower ones. Distance can be up to 10km’s for the faster group. The fast group will typically not be involved with stopping or fetching whereas the slower one will do so at designated sports along the way. All are encouraged to run at a pace that they comfortable with.
Emphasis is placed on running as a group with fetching taking place on both nights.
Runners are encouraged to wear red shorts and white vests/t-shirts (if possible Crusaders attire) and to also bring along head lamps and reflective gear for the winter months.
Over and above the normal club training runs, there are various training groups who run regular weekend long runs. These will be advised to members via the club e-mail list.
